I am a fully certified Counselling Professional and member of the BACP. I am also a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Mentor, Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher. I help my clients achieve their personal and professional goals and I offer proven strategies for helping a client to make the transition from words into action. The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth by helping you identify the core challenges and setbacks in your life, so that you can overcome them with confidence. I specialise in working with you to create new approaches to problems and providing tools to guide you forward and achieve your desired goals.

Since 2000, I've helped my clients breakthrough the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. Life is too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled by one's self - so what are you waiting for? Let me help you develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals.

Clinical Hypnotherapy - Hypnotherapy is a deeply relaxing experience and while in this deep, focused state of being, with the power of positive suggestions, change happens in your sub-conscious mind. Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that uses the power of these positive suggestions to bring about change to your thoughts, feelings and future behaviour. The areas and types of hypnotherapy i specialise in are:

Whatever issues or problems you need to change, I am highly qualified and confident, dealing sensitively with all forms of issues, from straight forward to complex or distressing issues.

(For your information, hypnotherapy is not 'mind-control'. It is totally safe and recommended as the most effective treatment for smoking cessation by the NHS.)

Meditation - It feels so special! I've always thought it's one of the nicest things a person can do for themselves. It can seem like a gift for yourself when you practice/learn about it and what it can do for you. My sessions are always very deeply relaxing, insightful, interesting, stimulating and for many people, '...a totally unique and very pleasurable experience, unlike anything else!'

Bring a partner, family member, friend or come alone. I will teach you how to still your mind, re-discover the benefits of being mindful and enable you to discover ever deeper levels of relaxation.

Being able to embrace the many benefits of meditation will aid your physical, emotional and intellectual health and well-being as well as help you look and feel younger.

'I recently decided to try counselling as a means of dealing with depression and anxiety. I was a little self-conscious at first, but Karl soon put me at ease. I have found Karl's expertise and skills set to be very helpful, even after just two sessions and I believe that if you think it might help - believe me it will - just try it!'

Wandering Traveler

'Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tip-toe if you must, but take the step.'
